One month of Couponing

In some of my recent and previous blogs i’ve been able to show how simple it is to coupon, none the less how to only digitally coupon online.

For the last month iv tried to really save and score on every little thing that has been possible. This was only for a month so far. I would start on saturday nights looking at the coupon and ads, cross looking for sales and to see if I had a matching coupon or if I had a digital one to clip.

Its amazing what one month of extreme couponing could do.

I know the photo looks nowhere near $266.22 but as i’m writing this i’m still waiting on 4 different packages to arrive to complete this months coupon haul. Let me tell you… I have so much Garnier Fructis and Whole Blends I told my husband whatever we stockpile on for as long as we can (as long as the coupon or product is available) then donate the items or send them in the Shoebox Gifts overseas.

That truly is what you will end up with if you take this to heart like I have and so many others. Again iv been going very hard crunching numbers for about a month now looking over sales and coupons to get to where I am.

I use KrazyCouponLady but don’t rely on it because I live in California where we can not double coupons or other words stack coupons. This is how more people on the east coast walk away with free stuff. It works by trying to by something on sale for $2.00, say a toothbrush. Before you pay, you hand over 2 $1.00 manufacturer coupons that explicitly say “may be stacked” or “may be doubled”. This only works if the two bar codes are different meaning you got the two coupons from different Sunday newspapers. Another reason its more common to hear of extreme couponers going dumpster diving to get those stacked coupons and score free products!

Why do I do extreme couponing?

I mean… you see what one month of extreme couponing could do. Iv saved almost $200 on so much stuff in just one month. Its really proven its self to get more and more easier the more I look into the problems I have or ask about them its easily figured out. Being only 22 years only and both my husband and I have a deep desire to save money. Doing extreme couponing has definitely been able to prove it works for a young couple saving money.

Now this is all 59 products, $1.14 each product. That is better than Dollar Tree ($1.25 +tax). I think for only one month of working hard on truly looking at coupons it has really shown to pay off. Its so simple and easy!
