Simple Chocolate Coffee Cake
Today were going to make a Simple Chocolate Coffee Cake. This is so delicious to have with milk or with a cup of coffee!
Why Boxed Cake?
I got this box cake for only $0.50! Yep… I got it at a food outlet store called Pops. The food there is beyond discounted because it will expire soon or the product is damaged. I used a boxed cake because of the price, and because I wanted to make this in under an hour since my husband’s grandparents were coming over with dinner. So I figured I would make a simple chocolate coffee cake.
Add-in's
I usually put so much more into my cakes when I bake from a box. This time I added only 3 things. I added 1 teaspoon of Vanilla syrup into the batter and about 1/2 cup of Toll House expresso morsels. Once baked, I added on top the Starbucks Caramel Dulce concentrate expresso.
