How to stay healthy during pregnancy.

I'm in my second trimester and trying to stay healthy is challenging. Here are some things I've been doing that really help me.

Healthy habits you can start right now

One of the most obvious being water intake. Its recommended you drink 8-10, 8oz glasses of water in a day. I use a 32oz bottle that I fill up a minimum  of 6 times in a day, along with drinking a whole one at night. Both my husband and me love this bottle because it comes with 3 different tops for your usage weather the drinks hot, cold, or on the go. If you’re getting tired of water, using a infuser bottle is another great option. I like to add lemon, lime, cucumber or if I have them i’ll add a mix of berries. Eating healthy

This is the number one thing I struggled with in my first trimester. I was so sick on the verge of vomiting all the time. I lost 20lbs in the first trimester because of it. I was never able to really eat a meal but I was able to snack. It wasn’t until I was almost in my 2nd trimester that I was able to eat a whole meal. 

Now that I am in the second trimester I still snack and eat smaller meals. I really try to make sure that when I snack its only healthy snacks that aren’t just beneficial to me but for the baby as well. When i’m eating a meal I always add fruit and vegetables. I absolutely love fruit so that’s no problem for me. My husband is very persistent that I eat meat so he’s my big supporter that I eat meat. For vegetables i’m very picky about what ill eat in that category but as long as we have them ill eat them. 

For snacks iv always tried to stay on the healthy side for snacks because thats what I mainly eat through the day. Another reason my husband and me will go for rides out all the time to new towns. Hes a blogger as well and going to nearby towns and trying new places is what makes up his blog. I always keep snacks on me because these car rides can take a toll on me at times.
